The Eagles traveled to Brampton on
Monday to play the 45’s in their first game of the new year. The goals came
early and often for the Eagles as they started 2017 with a bang winning 9-0.
Jake started the scoring only seconds into the game. The Eagles would find themselves up 4-0 after the first period. Two more goals in the second and three more goals in the third would give the Eagles their win. Kai managed a hat trick with some fine shooting. The biggest development was the passing all the players attempted. It’s been a struggle to get the players to give up the puck to pass on a scoring chance for a better scoring chance, but we saw some of that on Monday. Hopefully the passing continues on Thursday against a tough Guelph team.
