Finishing Strong
The Eagles travelled to Caledon Wednesday night to face the Hawks for the last time this season. What was mostly a tight scoring game until mid way through the third period ended 4-1 in favour of the Eagles.

Things started slowly for the Eagles having trouble handling the puck and clearing the zone. It wasn’t until late in the first period when Jake opened the scoring did the Eagles find their legs. But they were able to hold off the Hawks with some fine defensive plays, by Brody, Mackennen, and Vaughn. In the second period the Eagles struck first with a great power play goal from Dustin moving in off the blue line. Caledon would answer back with a nice top corner wrist shot from between the dots. The second period would end 2-1 for the Eagles. In the third the Eagles dominated much of the play with Jake picking up his second goal and T.J. finishing it off with the fourth goal of the game for the Eagles. With two more games left in the season the Eagles are looking to finish on a high note.
