The Burlington Eagles Board of Directors are pleased to announce current board member, Dave Armstrong, will be assuming the role of President of Burlington City Rep Hockey Club effective immediately. 

Dave is a long time resident of the City of Burlington, and owner/founder of Global Fuels.  As a father of four, Dave has long been involved in the sporting world.  A passionate supporter of hockey and a philanthropist by nature, Dave and Global Fuels are sponsors of “Big Play” and “Dreams Come True” Hockey Canada campaigns to give underprivileged children the opportunity to play organized hockey.  Read More

U7 (Initiation), U9 (Novice) and U11 (Atom) Player Pathway Implementation for 2020-2021

All U7 (Initiation), U11 (Novice) and U11 (Atom) players within Hockey Canada programming will be playing the entirety of next hockey season with the implementation of the U11 (Atom) Player Pathway.    Starting in the 2020-2021 season minor hockey players, including those in the Ontario Hockey Federation’s Member Partners ALLIANCE, GTHL, OMHA, NOHA and the OWHA will be following the U11 (Atom) Player Pathway. The dates are set for the 13th annual OHF/OHL U15 Program of Excellence Camps. Held in April and May of this year across Ontario, the camps will focus on a variety of on and off-ice sessions, helping to ensure players are provided with the most up-to-date development strategies. Read More

Rankings going down to the wire

The Minor Petes and North Stars continue to roll and are two of the strongest teams in this age group. The Jr. Gaels make an appearance, winning seven of their last 10 contests.  

The Burlington Eagles hold steady ranked third in the OMHA Top 5 in week seven with a 16-3-5 record.

The STA (Buffalo Regals, Burlington Eagles, Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs, Niagara North Stars and Southern Tier Admirals) Bantam All-Star Team faced off against the CTA (Brampton 45s, Grey-Bruce Highlanders, Halton Hurricanes and Oakville) Bantam All-Star Team at the Annual SCTA Bantam All-Star Game on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the University of Guelph.
