The Eagles played a much improved
Ancaster Avalanche on Saturday. Despite numerous scoring opportunities the
Eagles were only able to score one goal and fell to the Avalanche 2-1.
The game started with Grady ringing a shot from in close off the crossbar. This was a sign of things to come. Grady, T.J., and Preston lead the offensive charge with shots off the iron, just missing the net, or right in the goalie’s chest. Aside from one shot by Grady that managed to squeak through, the Eagles were unable to score. The Avalanche opened the scoring in the first and took the lead for good in the second period on the power play. No scoring in the third. The Eagles travel to Dundas on Sunday to face the Blues for the final time in the regular season.
