Tough Start = Tough Finish
A lethargic start to the game left the boys playing catch up.
The boys have shown mettle and character in past games after going down early, but could not muster that 'fight' against the Fusion.
A lethargic start and early 2-0 CW lead put the boys on their heels and forced Hunter into some shooting-gallery-like situations. Short flourishes of activity meant the boys were on the cusp of getting back into the contest, but those flourishes were met with matching Fusion bursts. A tough, and admittedly deserved, 3-2 L to CW.
Coaches are hoping for a bounce back versus Oakville Blue this Saturday.
