The Eags trade points with the Attack
Submitted By Warren Sheridan on Sunday, October 27, 2019
The home advantage was a disadvantage in a home and home versus Owen Sound.

In a game that was lightly attended by our usually engaged Hockey Mom Booster Club, the boys were able to take two lost points back from the Attack in Owen Sound earlier this afternoon.

The boys came out flying on Saturday against the Attack taking an early 1-0 lead.  The Attack fought back and evened the score at 1 when our referees missed a Devo back-bar-down goal. In chatting with the bad guy's coaching staff after the game, the 'goodness' of the goal was confirmed by an OS supporter standing behind the net...sorry Devo, but the zebras beat the Eags...your coif still rocks though.  The boys took an L.

Earlier this afternoon, the boys were ready to even the score against the Attack after a long drive from Burlington to Owen Sound.  With four minutes to go and down 2-1, the boys fought back and won the game 3-2.  The game deserves better literary description, but after a night at Mauro's and 5 hours on the road, I am tapping out.

We are incredibly proud of our boys and the fight they showed today.

Finally, a BIG thank you to the Fattores' for hosting an incredible Halloween party for the boys and their Eagles brothers and sisters.
