A close one in Caledon!
An incredibly stubborn Caledon tendie held the boys to just 2 grapefruits for the good guys this past Sunday.

Before I get into the game recap, I have to unfortunately report an act of vandalism that occurred before Sunday's game in Caledon.

Incident Summary:
  • The incident occurred at some point between the boys arriving for the game and the drop of the puck
  • Rosser's stick was apparently kidnapped for a short period of time before the game
  • The stick was returned, saving the assailant a kidnapping charge, but it had been vandalized
  • The stick had suffered a great indignity while in the hands of the perpetrator
  • It had been re-taped with a substance that was littered with Montreal Canadiens logos
  • The local authorities have been alerted and an award is available should you have information leading to the capture and charges against the assailant
Game Summary:

The boys applied immense pressure to Caledon throughout the game, Caledon's goalie was stalwart turning away 30+ shots and an estimated 17 legit scoring opportunities.  Ironically one of our goals was scored by Rosser on a completely whiffed wrist shot which analysts suspect may be due to the aforementioned tape and direct correlation to the Habs and whiffing.  Silky Smooth Stack potted the go ahead goal which game at the end of a tap dance from the blue line completed with a peanut butter puck.

The boys have practise tonight (Tue, Nov 5) and pictures tomorrow (Wed, Nov 6).
