Peewee A Gold - CONGRATULATIONS EAGLES PEEWEE A GOLD PELHAM REGIONAL SILVERSTICK CHAMPIONS
Submitted By Communications on Monday, December 30, 2019
The Eagles PeeWee A Gold team traveled down the QEW to Pelham over the Christmas Break to participate in the annual Silverstick Regional Championships.

The tournament started with a convincing 6-3 victory over the Tillsonberg Tornados.
After a close 2-0 loss to Stoney Creek, the Eagles finished off the round robin with a 3-0 victory over the Welland Tigers.

The Eagles advanced to the Quarterfinals and met a determined Thorold Black Hawk team and came out with a nail biting 2-1 victory.

Next-up in the Semifinals was the Milton Winterhawks where the Eagles were again victorious with a 4-1 victory.

The Championship game was a rematch of the round robin with Burlington taking on Stoney Creek.

The Eagles emerged victorious with a 6-1 Championship victory and will now move on to the Silvertick Finals in Port Huron in January.

Congratulations to players and staff on your Championship
