Tryout registration for the Burlington Eagles 2024-25 season
is now open! Tryouts for our U10-13 teams will take place from April 20th
– May 10th, and for our U14-18 teams it will go from April 22nd
– May 12th.
We will continue to streamline the tryout process like we
did last year, with the following stages for team selection:
Under 7 – Our Junior Eagles seasonal structure
will be similar to 2023/24. To reserve your spot within the Eagles club for
September, please complete the Junior Eagles Deposit registration using this link.
Under 8 + 9 – EVALUATIONS WILL BE IN THE FALL (after
Labour Day weekend). To complete registration for the preparation skates and evaluation for the Fall, please use this link.
Under 10 + 11 – Every player is invited to
start the tryout process at AAA but has the option to start at AA. Please see
the registration link at the bottom of this article, and note this in the questionnaire.
Under 12-16 – Only players who participated in
AAA and AA hockey last season will be eligible to start the tryout process the
first week at AAA. Players who participated in A or lower last season can apply
for permission to start at AAA by completing this form. This form must
be completed before April 13th for your player to be
considered. Everyone else will be invited to start the tryout process in week 2
during AA skates.
Under 18 – Under 18 tryouts will run in
accordance with OHF Playing Regulation K. Identification skates will be run in
April and May for all Burlington residents for all our AAA, AA, and A teams. More
information will follow closer to the end of April. You can register now for

**NON-BURLINGTON RESIDENTS – please refer to the
Non-Burlington_Residents_Tryout_Instructions on how to register for AAA tryouts.**
Preparation Skates will be offered for the Under 10,
11, 12, and 13 age groups. These will take place from April 2nd to April
16th, and the schedule will be posted on the Eagles website here.
These skates will be run by our Skills Coaches and are NOT a part of the
evaluation process. You will be contacted directly by the Eagles office with
your prep skate assignments. A goalie clinic will be offered for these
age groups as well on April 17th run by our Goalie Development
Coaches and are also NOT a part of the evaluation process. Both the prep
skates and the goalie clinic are included in your tryout registration fee. You
will receive your assignments from the office one week before the ice times.
A mandatory body checking clinic for players entering
Under 14 will be offered for all players who register for U14 tryouts and will
take place on April 18th and April 19th. Each player will
get two sessions and you will be contacted by the Eagles office directly with
your hitting clinic assignments one week prior to the clinics.

The tryout fee will be $100.00. A late fee will increase the
overall cost to $150.00 on April 13th.
