Minor Peewee A advances to the OMHA semi finals. After ending 2018 with an amazing tournament win in the Richard Bell Memorial, the Eagles finished their regular season first overall and ranked in the top 10. For a second year in a row the Eagles faced Centre Wellington in a prelims series... taking that series in 3 games. 3 games would also be all it would take in the quarter finals to eliminate league rival Oakville Rangers Red from OMHA playoffs. Moving on to the semis this weekend, the team will face the AA St. Thomas Jr Stars. Good luck to the team!

Minor Peewee A took home gold this weekend at the Richard Bell Memorial Tournament. Coming off a double overtime loss in the final at their last tournament they were determined to take home gold in their final tourney of the year. Going 4-0 in the round robin earned them a bye to the semis. Facing Owen Sound in the semis the Eagles battled for a 3-2 win. Moving onto the finals the Eagles would play Woolwich for gold. Being up 2-0 through two periods of play the Eagles would score 5 goals in the third beating Woolwich 7-0 for the gold medal. The boys put up 33 goals and only allowed 4 through 6 games, a great effort that paid off. Congratulations to the team and good luck in the playoffs.
