It
is with great sadness that I inform our Eagle family of the passing of a
community leader and friend, Casey Cosgrove. The immense sorrow we feel for
Bryna, Evan, Jack and Kate for their loss, can only be measured by the
incredible leadership and example that Casey demonstrated throughout his
lifetime as a husband, father, friend and most importantly, a mentor to all.
Casey's positive attitude and smiling disposition will be missed but never
forgotten.
Casey was a leader in every challenge he decided to tackle. Of course his family was always his first priority but he also positively influenced the youth of our community with his unending capacity to volunteer not only as an Eagle Coach and Convenor but also any worthy endeavor Casey thought would benefit his beloved community. From the Eagle's, to Baseball to the Terry Fox Run to local politics, Casey demonstrated his passion for what he believed in, and represented those beliefs with logic and diplomacy.
To his family, thank you for supporting his volunteerism and sharing your husband and father and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
