Hey Eagle Families and Friends !!

Last year marked the 10th Anniversary of the Gift of Giving Back --  Our community has benefitted so much over those years!!  And last October, as you know, the Burlington Mall celebrated with us by hosting a special Gift of Giving Back Kick-off with an exciting Hockey Hall of Fame event.  Burlington Mall is a great friend to our organization!!  

As part of the kick-off, renowned artist David Arrigo, professional painter for the NHL, was commissioned to paint two pieces especially for the Gift of Giving Back.
 
The first – a wonderful mural/canvas featuring rising star Connor McDavid.

The second – an Eagle custom-painted Bauer goalie mask; valued at $1,200.

Here’s a wonderful chance to own an original artwork crafted by a master.  These two items will be auctioned off at the Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Spring Gala at around 8:30 to 9:00 pm.  Funds raised will support the Gift of Giving Back.  Winners of the auction may pay by VISA or cash/cheque.

About the Artist:  David was first propelled into the spotlight when he was commissioned by the Hockey Hall of Fame to complete a painting of Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. Arrigo’s high profile client list includes various sport and corporate identities and has been featured at such events as the Olympics, US Open, various professional All Star Games and the NFL Super Bowl to name a few. 
 
He also works with numerous NHL goaltenders to produce the art on their masks.
