The Burlington Eagles family would like to extend our
congratulations to Burlington residents Renata Fast and Emma Maltais on their
2022 Winter Olympics Gold Medal win! Wednesday night/early Thursday morning the Canadian National Women’s Team

Renata Fast played all her minor hockey in Burlington for the Barracudas before going to Clarkson University. After four years of NCAA hockey, she played in the CWHL professional league for the Toronto Furies. Internationally she has represented Team Canada in a total of 60 games, including winning the silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. In 2022 she registered a goal and four assists in the seven games.
