As of today, July 29th, the minor hockey season in Ontario is still very uncertain. Here at the Eagles we are still working with the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), as well as our municipal governments to ensure that hockey comes back to Burlington safely and smoothly.
However today's climate has made it difficult for us to properly plan and prepare for the 2020-21 season. With this in mind, we are re-opening registration starting today
but there is no payment required. The fees will remain the same once everything have been approved and scheduled, but until those details are clearer this summer's sign up will not require any payment. We are hoping this extra round of sign-ups will help us better determine and plan our hockey future for the remainder of 2020.
As before, this pre-registration will only be valid for all participants who are Under 12 (Minor Peewee) and older. Since Hockey Canada rolled out the Atom Pathway back in January, we still have not received an update on how hockey will look for these younger age divisions. Until we have a better idea of how the year will look for the younger age groups, we will wait on opening registration.
If you had previously signed up and paid for tryouts in March, April, or May: you are not required to register again. We will be using this new signup as a supplement to our Spring numbers to help determine ice requirements and demand moving into this Fall and Winter.
