The Burlington Minor Bantam A Eagles put the crowning touch on a fantastic season by winning the Tri-County Championship last night defeating the Milton Winterhawks 4-0, and beating Milton 3 games to 1 in the final series. Throughout the season, the team captured 3 tournament Championships including the Silver Stick International Tournament Championship - what a highlight!! This amazing team put together one of the best records in the league with 59 wins 10 loses and 5 ties. Once again, congratulations boys for putting together a season to remember. - Coach Jeff Gruber

This past weekend the Eagles Minor Bantam A team competed
in the International Silver Stick Championship in Newmarket, Ontario. The Eagles entered the
tournament ranked number two in Ontario. The team opened up the tournament with
a victory over the Woodstock Jr. Vets 3-1.
On Friday, they defeated the host team Newmarket Redman 3-0 and then a
4-1 victory over the Ann Arbor Wolves of Michigan. On Saturday they won their final pool play game against the Nickel City Coyotes 2-0 which gave the Eagles a
perfect 4-0 record and first place in their pool. In the semi-finals they once again defeated Nickel City 4-0.

The Burlington Eagles Minor A team captured the
2018 Richard Bell Memorial hockey tournament with a convincing 6-1 victory over
the Welland Tigers The boys put together a 5-0-1 record in the
tournament allowing only 3 goals against and scoring 24 goals. A solid team

Minor Bantam A Eagles won their early bird tournament in Niagara Falls (Septemer 7th-9th). The boys started the tournament with a commanding 6-0 win over Dundas Blues, and an impressive 8-1 victory against Stoney Creek Warriors. Day 2 followed with another 4-0 win against Burlington Bulldogs. The final day of tournament saw a semi-final 6-0 win over Northumberland Nighthawks and a championship win over Stoney Creek 4-0. Awesome undefeated record boys!!!
