Minor Atom AA are Finalists at Gene Harrington AA Cup Challenge
Congratulations to the Burlington Eagles Minor Atom AA team on their second place finish in Buffalo NY this past weekend.It was an exciting tournament weekend with some hard fought games and a chance to play on the NHL sized outdoor rink at the Buffalo Riverworks. The biggest excitement was the semi final game against rivals Halton Hills when only 29 seconds into the 3rd OT and a 3 on 3 format, Eagles scored and advanced to the championship game. Unfortunately they came upshort in the final and were defeated by the London Junior Knights 4-1. The boys made us proud showing their true sportsmanship. Well done players and coaches! It was a great weekend full of hockey, friendship, team building and fun!
