Atom AA-Blue Visits Salvation Army
On Thursday the team visited the Salvation Army to learn first hand how the food drive helps families in Burlington.
The boys were given a facility tour and it was explained to them what part the Salvation Army plays in our community for those less fortunate. It truly was an eye opening experience for them and the parents. It was explained how people come in and pick food, where the excess is stored and how it is sorted. The boys were then given the opportunity to sort a complete bin of food and place it in the proper locations for future shelve stocking. Great job by the boys, and an even better learning experience for them.
