Novice A Grimsby Minor/Major Tournament Champions, News (Burlington City Rep Hockey Club)

The Novice A team came home undefeated and carrying the Banner as the 2014-2015 Novice A Champions after a great team effort in Grimsby over the weekend.

The tournament started off with a bang with a 13-0 victory over the Newmarket Redmen. The afternoon game was a preview of Championship Sunday with the Eagles grinding out a 4-2 victory over the host, Grimsby Peach Kings. The semi-final game Saturday afternoon was another strong showing from the Burlington team with a 5-1 victory over Glanbrook Rangers A. On championship Sunday, it was a rematch between Grimsby who was out for revenge and the Eagles who dominated play most of the game. The Eagles closed out the tournament with a 2-0 win to earn the championship. During the tournament the Eagles were an impressive 24 Goals for vs. 3 goals against.
