Minor Peewee Blue Rocks the Nation's Cup Detroit
Submitted By Todd Smith on Monday, December 2, 2019
Great tournament for Minor Peewee Blue this past weekend in the Motor City--or at least somewhere in the state of Michigan..

Eagles Minor Peewee Blue went 0-4 against some tough US competition, but won on Sunday--the day it mattered--and had some great times along the way: Leafs/Redwings Game, Lions/Bears game, Black Friday, The pool, The Flu, Flat tires, Custom Tape jobs, cheap suds & cheeseballs. and of course lots of flags and Canada/US trash talk.  Some new crushes began, and let’s not forget the late night hotel parking lot sprints.

We made the longest drives, at the worst times, to play the toughest teams, with the best group of parents around!   Thank you to the Minor Peewee Blue parents for making it all possible, and being there to support these kids.

Burlington ‘Team Canada” Minor Peewee AA Blue are:

RJ ‘Beastmode’ Bevington, Ryan Longstick Jonesy,  ‘Big V’ Wilson, Babs, Hodgy, Dubya-T Turner, Daniel Ovech-Kim, Jordie ‘JJBrook’ Anastasiou, Mack Truck Lottridge, Tyler Pantzonfyre Marra, Gordo, Bergy, Patches, Fireball Jr & Spitty.

Thankfully our Goaltenders Jingles and Gavin –The Gav-Moore were there to hold off the assault and keep us in the games.

Congratulations to our fellow Canadians the Milton Winterhawks who won the 2008 Final after overtime and shootout to a very strong Compuware team.
