Peewee AA-Blue, Under 13, 2017-2018 (Burlington City Rep Hockey Club)

On January 27th the PeeWee AA Blue team attended the Hamilton Bulldogs game at the First Ontario Centre. The team was fortunate enough to have the "Bench Kids" experience. The players and coaches were on the Bulldogs bench during the  warm up! The boys had the opportunity to speak with many of the Bulldogs! It was a great game! Bulldogs had a amazing 5-1 victory over the Oshawa Generals! PeeWee AA Blue had a fantastic experience and it was a wonderful opportunity for the boys! 

On behalf of the Coaching staff and the players, we want to wish our AAA brothers success and fun at the Quebec Peewee Tournament. We will be rooting for you! Bring it home boys!

 On December 28th-30th the Peewee AA Blue team travelled to St. Catherines to take part in the Vic Teal Memorial Tournament. After going undefeated in the preliminary round, the team defeated a strong London Knights team 2-1 in the semi-final and advanced to the finals against Niagara Falls. With strong goaltending and defence, along with timely scoring, the Eagles went onto a 3-0 victory to bring home the championship. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a successful weekend. Also, thank you to the parents for your continued support.

Congratulations to the boys for a great tournament start to finish!  The Eagles went 5-0 in the tournament outscoring their opponents 23-6. But it all came down to a nail bitting final against the Brantford 99'ers.  The teams battled to a 2-2 tie after 3 periods and OT. The game went to a an exciting shoot out where the Eagles came out on top winning the game 3-2! The boys showed great teamwork, hustle and determination leading to a well deserved championship medal!!!
