Submitted By Kyle Mundell on Thursday, October 8, 2020
Congratulations to former Eagles goaltender Nico Daws on being drafted to the New Jersey Devils in yesterday’s 2020 NHL Draft. Nico was selected in the 3rd round with the 84th overall selection.

Nico had an exceptional 2019/20 that included a trip to the IIHF World Junior Championships as part of Team Canada, was named the OHL Goaltender of the Year with a 2.48 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage, and entered the 2020 NHL Draft as the highest rated North American goaltender according to Central Scouting.

Everyone here at the Eagles is extremely proud of you Nico and we are very excited to watch you take the next step in your hockey journey!
