Grew up in Burlington playing AAA hockey through the City Rep system.  He played Tier II Jr. A with the Burlington Cougars and went on to play NCAA Division III hockey at Lake Forest College.
He has coached for over 10 years in Burlington at a various levels including Midget AAA and Tier II Jr. A.  Justin has multiple coaching levels as well as a master degree in education.
