Great First Tournament!
The Mary Parkinison Memorial Tournament was a great start to
the hockey season. The tournament started with a decisive
victory over Richmond Hill (6-1), then a hard loss to the Duffield Devils (3-1). Boys came back from the lost to pull out a
tough victory against the Whitby Wildcats (2-1). They fought hard to get a tie against the
Sudbury Wolves (3-3).
We met the Pickering Panthers in the Semi finals, and after a very back and forth game ending in a 3-3 tie, Going into overtime 3 on 3, the boys made it happen 4-3 victory! In the finals we met the Previous season’s OMHA winners and gave them a run for their money, losing 3-1 to the Aurora Tigers. The boys should be so proud, they played great! Looking forward to the regular season!
