The Bantam AAA Eagles were 6-0-0 at the Rochester
Invitational Tournament bringing home Gold medals and the Championship
Trophy.
On Friday the Eagles beat Rochester Americans 7-0 and Lakeshore Panthers 6-0. On Saturday the Eagles faced the Brantford 99ers and came away with a convincing 4-0 win seeding them in first place in Round Robin play. Saturday evening in the Quarter Finals the boys faced the Lakeshore Panthers once again with the Eagles taking it 8-1. The Semi Final Sunday AM brought the Brampton 45's in a hard fought game where the Eagles came out on top again 5-3. The Championship Game Sunday afternoon brought together the two undefeated teams our Eagles and the Upper Canada Cyclones. The Eagles scored early and never looked back handing the Cyclones their only defeat of the tournament 5-0.
