The Peewee A Gold Eagles hosted the Hong
Kong DBees in an exhibition game at Appleby 2 Arena on Tuesday Dec. 23.
The visiting team from Hong Kong is on a GTA tour before heading to Ottawa for the Bell Capital Cup.
Before the game there was a special appearance by the Stanley Cup. Both teams got to pose with the Holy Grail of hockey. What a special Christmas treat!
The Eagles were the dominant team in the game winning 10-1.
After the game the teams exchanged gifts and pins and then headed to Boston Pizza for dinner together.
It was a great experience for both teams to see hockey from a different culture’s point of view.
