Eagles Win Belleville Tournament!
The Nova Steel Peewee AA Eagles brought home the gold from the
Belleville Pre Season Tilt with a near-perfect 5-0-1 record.
They beat the host Belleville Jr. Bulls in the first game 6-1 followed by the Oshawa Generals 7-0 in game two. Saturday saw the Eagles win over Upper Ottawa Valley Aces and then in game four, they tied Seaway Valley Rapids but were able to hang onto first place through the round robin. In the first semifinal on Sunday, they beat Waterloo Wolves Gold 3-1 and then in a rematch with Seaway Valley, the Eagles were able to secure the tournament win with a 3-1 victory.
