EAGLES TEAMS TAKE HOME SEVEN CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEKEND

The Burlington City Rep Hockey Club had a very successful weekend in their first tournament action this past weekend totalling seven (7) championships.

The teams that won included the Minor Atom AA Gold, Atom AA, Minor Peewee A, Peewee AA Gold, Bantam A, Bantam AA Blue, and Bantam AA Gold. There were also 2 finalist teams, namely the Minor Peewee AA Blue and Minor Bantam A Blue.  



Starting with the Minor Atom AA Gold, they had a record of 4-0 to win the Kitchener Early Bird Tournament. The Atom AA also went 4-0 with a 6-1 win in the finals beating the Kitchener Rangers, also in the Kitchener Early Bird tournament. 

The Minor Peewee A team had a record of 6-0-1 in the Flamborough Fall Early Bird tournament beating the Oakville Rangers (Red) 3-1 in the finals. 

The Peewee AA Gold team had a record of 4-0 in the Kitchener Early Bird tournament beating the Milton Winterhawks 5-0 in the finals not allowing a single goal against the whole tournament. 

The Bantam A team won the Kitchener Early Bird going 4-0 beating the Milton Winterhawks 4-2 in the finals. 

The Bantam AA Blue team won 5 games in a row for a 5-1 record beating the Newmarket Redmen in a 3-2 thriller in the finals to take home the hardware. 

Last but not least, the Bantam AA Gold team went 4-1 on route to a championship beating the Milton Winterhawks in the finals 3-1.             

Congratulations to all Championship Teams what a wonderful start to the season.
