2 more longtime Eagles get selected in the OHL U18 Priority Selection Process
Submitted By Admin on Thursday, April 12, 2018
Congrats to longtime Eagle Cal Shell G selected in the 2nd round by the North Bay Battalion and former longtime Eagle Joshua Belgrave C selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 3rd round of yesterday's draft.   Your perseverance has been rewarded.

Josh's former Head Coach in Bantam Mike Whittaker had this to say about Josh;   "Joshua is a speedy forward who has the ability to push the pace and tilt the ice in any game.  He is a multi-sport athlete that has a nose for the net and ability to surprise with a thunderous hit on unsuspecting opponents.  He speaks to the development model the Eagles have in place.   He worked his way from AA Blue in Minor Bantam to AAA in Bantam and Midget and has been recognized for his efforts".

Our Eagles Goalie Mentor Rod Kirk and Goalie Development coach Brandon Laur had this to say about Cal;  Cal is a tremendous young man. He is a hard worker and is dedicated to continuously improving his skills.    He is technically sound and uses his angels effectively to eliminate the need to scramble.   Congratulations Cal.  Your character and work ethic will only lend to your future successes.

More Eagles flying high!!  Good luck boys.
