VOLUNTEER AND SPONSOR APPRECIATION SPRING GALA –April 7th
Again this year we are putting together a slide show presentation to be shown during the gala.
WE ARE ALSO COMPILING A VIDEO FEATURING ALL TEAMS.
SLIDESHOW: We are asking each team for a maximum of 5 photographs. Photographs could include: Team Accomplishments; Tournament Wins, Special Events, Team Celebrations, Volunteering, etc.
Please forward all photographs to Tanya Lockwood at[email protected] as soon as possible. Drop-dead deadline for photographs is: March 20th. All teams should be finished playing by that point.
Please note that low-resolution photos (some cell-phone shots, especially) are not suited to being blown up on the AV screen and will not be able to be included. Also, any captions/graphics/titles on photos may have to be edited out (for consistency), so the image alone is preferred. If it’s a tournament shot which contains graphics (and it’s all you have), send it along, as we may be able to edit it for inclusion.
The MOST IMPORTANT detail is that each photo be labeled with the team name. Also, any tournament win photos should identify the tournament with the full/proper name.
Note: There is no need to send this year’s team photo as we have already obtained a copy from the photographer.
ALSO We would like two or three bullet points to go on your official team picture for the slide show. Please keep it very short and sweet – just 2 or 3 quick points!!!
Of course, if you have won championships and tournaments, please list those. But we also want to know about enjoyable and exciting challenges, off-ice parties (like paintball, etc.) -- all the activities and team fun that you have had all year. Did your team improve as you went along? Did the parents form a cohesive group? Did your group have the loudest cheers in the arena? Things like that! But keep it short – it MUST fit on the one single PowerPoint slide.
