to have former NHL player & coach Greg Gilbert, as our newest NLT service
provider for the 2017-18 season!
Greg Gilbert played 15 seasons and over 800 games in the National Hockey League before retiring from his playing career to become a coach. During his career, he played for the New York Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues.
After a sixteen season NHL career, Greg shifted his focus to passing along his extensive knowledge & expertise by coaching several teams such as the Worcester Ice Cats of the AHL, the Mississauga Ice Dogs of the OHL and the Calgary Flames of the NHL. He is a former head coach of the Toronto Marlies and the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL, and the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL.
As a player, Gilbert is a three-time Stanley Cup Champion, winning it with the Islanders in 1982 and 1983, and with the Rangers in 1994.
He is the only person in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup with both franchises.
