Both our U9 Tier 1 and our U9 Tier 2 Gold were crowned champions this past weekend in Vaughan!
U9 Tier 1
The Burlington Eagles U9 Tier 1 team had a memorable weekend at the Vaughan Rangers Select Hockey Tournament, finishing the event with an undefeated record over five games and earning the championship title.
Throughout the tournament, the Eagles displayed strong defensive play, consistent effor and unselfish hockey.
In the championship game, the players once again relied on their structure and teamwork. Their determination and positive attitude helped carry them across the finish line, closing out a successful weekend.
The coaching staff and families are proud of the way the Eagles represented Burlington, both in their play and in their sportsmanship. Congratulations to the players on a great team effort and a well-earned tournament win.
U9 Tier 2 Gold
Our U9 T2 Gold boys delivered an incredible weekend of hockey at the Vaughan Rangers Select Tournament, playing with heart, grit, and true teamwork from start to finish. They allowed only 5 goals all tournament, stayed undefeated, and crowned it all with a huge third-period comeback in the finals.
This championship reflects the steady leadership of our incredible coaches and the constant support and love from our families. Undefeated champions, and so well earned.
