We had 3 of our AA teams win the Tri County Championships in
their respective divisions. Congratulations to all players, coaches and families for an incredible finish to the 2024-25 season.
U12AA
The team had an incredible season, finishing 1st
in regular season. U12AA went on to compete in OMHA’s and then
their TC Championships, where they beat Centre Wellington in 2 games.
U14AA
U14AA was the team that never gave up. After finishing 7th in regular season,
the team kept focussed and were able to finish in 2nd in their round
robin pool. Facing Oakville Red in the first elimination game they won in the
9th round of a shootout. Next came Flamborough which was won in OT to advance
to the OMHA finals for the first time ever. The team faced Halton in the semis and won the
third game in a shootout to advance to the finals . The team played incredible
in the OMHA with a record of 1-1-1 which was one point from moving on to the
semi finals. Our final series was against St. Catharines. We won the first game
4-3 scoring with 5 seconds to go in the game, St Catharines won the second
game. The kids played one of their best
games of the year and won game 3 in a shootout 1-0. This is the first time this
team has won the League Championship. This is a year most of us will not
forget.
U16AA
Finishing 4th in regular season, U16AA battled
hard in their round robin pool to secure a spot in OMHA’s. They then went on to compete in their TC Championships. Another hard fought series saw the Eagles
come out on top, bringing home Gold against Oakville, winning the series in 3
games.
