Congratulations to our Under 15 AA Gold team for their
tournament victory last weekend in Richmond Hill! The Eagles went undefeated
with five wins and one tie en route to the championship.
Going 3-0-1 in their round robin games, and outscoring their opponents 21-7 sealed a bye straight to the semi-finals for the Eagles. The extra rest on Sunday morning helped Burlington win their semi-final game 5-2 against the Seaway Valley Rapids, before they took on the Mississauga Beast in the final.
With a 3-1 victory in the final over Mississauga, the Eagles took the championship at the Mary Parkinson Memorial Tournament! The weekend was a fantastic start to the season for the Eagles, and it was a full team effort against some strong competition.
