The Burlington Eagles are excited to announce that tryout
registration has now opened for the 2022-23 season for AAA, AA, and A teams! This
season will see a return of Spring Tryouts due to OHF and Hockey Canada
guidelines for certain divisions, while other age groups will remain with Fall
Tryouts.
The age groups that will be participating in Spring Tryouts are U14 (2009), U15 (2008), and U16 (2007). The U8 through U13 divisions will hold their tryouts in the Fall with the first session beginning around Labour Day.
UNDER-18
The Under-18 tryout fee will include Spring and Fall tryouts. In the Spring, only Burlington residents or 2021-22 Eagles players are eligible to skate, and the AA and A teams will be selected from April 25th to 29th. Starting August 23rd, official tryouts for U18 AAA will start where non-Burlington residents can try out.
SPRING TRYOUTS (U14-16)
AAA Spring Tryouts will start on April 25th and each category will run for seven days, AA starts on May 2nd, and A tryouts start on May 9th. Spring tryout registration will remain open until the beginning of A tryouts. The times and locations will be released closer to the start of tryouts, and an email will be sent to each confirmed registrant when the schedule has been released.
Registration will take place on the Hockey Canada Registry portal, which you can access by CLICKING HERE.
The tryout fee will be $75 until April 18th. Starting on the 19th the fee will increase to $125. Late fees for Fall tryouts will begin September 1st.
