CALLING ALL EAGLES VOLUNTEERS
Submitted By Kyle Mundell on Friday, October 15, 2021
The 2021/22 hockey season is  finally underway and as in past years, the Burlington City Rep Hockey Club Eagles is looking for volunteers.

DID YOU KNOW? That the Burlington City Rep Hockey Club is comprised of all volunteers except for the positions of Office Administrator, Ice Scheduler, Referee Scheduler, Timekeeper Scheduler and NLT providers?

All Executive positions are volunteers; all coaches and team staff are volunteers; all Golden Horseshoe Tournament staff are volunteers; all Spirit Committee are volunteers; all Gift of Giving Back, Spring Gala and Food Drive/Picture Day staff are volunteers.  I could go on and on, but you get the picture J

Thousands of volunteer hours go into running the BCRHC. Did you ever wonder if we had to pay for these hours to run our hockey club – even at minimum wage -- how much hockey registration would cost?  Many of us could not afford to have our kids play rep hockey.

Many wonderful unselfish people work behind the scenes, too, in order to produce our hockey program of excellence.  And, it’s not just about the on-ice program, but all about building a strong and proud organization which cares about all aspects of our community and our youth – lots of positions open  -- even if your talents are not hockey-related.

We are looking for volunteers right now to help out for many different tasks.

If you are a member who has volunteered in the past - please consider helping us out again.

Our volunteers are important and imperative to this organization. We are always looking for new people to share our vision – especially those from the younger age groups.  There is much to do – why not consider stepping up now – you will meet wonderful people, learn valuable skills and have a fun time.  No matter how little time you can give it will help us all.   You will be welcomed enthusiastically!!.  See you soon J

Please email  me at [email protected] and let’s connect!
