Eagles Families,
We would like to give a brief update on the season extension
planned to start April 6th and end on May 30th. While
originally stated that the extended season would only proceed if the Halton
Public Health Unit reached the Orange stage, based on player and parent
feedback we have decided to proceed with the extension with the Halton PHU in
Red or Orange.
As soon as the Halton PHU moves to Orange we will adjust the programming as quickly as possible, whether that happens prior to OR during the season extension. Here are the differences between programming in the different zones of the COVID-19 response framework:
RED
ORANGE
# of Participants on-ice
Maximum of 10 participants
Maximum on-ice in accordance with PHU (50 indoors)

Prioritize games within Halton PHU against available opponents

Full complement of support staff available

Registration for the season extension is optional and will no longer open tomorrow on the 22nd, but rather the date has been pushed back to next Monday, March 29th, to allow more time for families to make an informed decision. What this does mean however, is the last date to register is April 4th – there will be no late registration. Additionally, after further discussion at the board level the cost of the program has been updated to $475.
We have planned for 25 teams but understand that not every Eagles player will register for the extension. Teams will be consolidated based on age group registrations to be as efficient as possible with the ice time available.
If you have not filled out the form to reserve your child’s spot you can do so by clicking here.
We are excited to be able to bring you more hockey for the 2020-21 season and are looking forward to seeing your players on the ice again!
