We
are saddened to announce that Brian McMillan, longtime friend and sponsor
of the Burlington City Rep Hockey Club, passed away on September 11th. Brian was
the co-founder of Al’s Sports and over the years made a lasting mark on our
local hockey community. Brian was a very special person to our
Eagles’ family. We all knew him as a strong advocate for minor sports,
willing to offer help whenever needed, but his main focus was always his
family.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Brenda and husband Frank, son Chris and his wife Amanda, and their children, Julia, Lauren and Kyle. Brian’s grandson Kyle played for our Minor Midget AAA team last year. Our deepest condolences to the McMillan family.
