Working Overtime
The Eagles went to Milton on Sunday to face the Winterhawks. It took four periods to decide the winner of this very exciting game in front of a large crowd supporting both teams. In the end the Winterhawks were able to score short handed and leave the Eagles with only a mathematical chance of making the Tri-County Finals.

Both teams were ready to go from the puck drop. The Eagles showed tremendous pressure on the puck and the goaltending tandem of Jack and Jack was once again fantastic. The Winterhawks showed off their team passing skills and strong play in front of the net. Milton opened the scoring with a wristshot ripped from between the dots up over Jack’s blocker. The Eagles answered back with a shot from the point that was picked up and deposited by Tyler. Despite great chances at both ends regulation finished at 1-1. Not long into overtime a Winterhawk player was able to get free a scored on a wrister from the right faceoff dot. It was a big win for Milton and the disappointment was evident on the Eagles bench, but the Eagles have shown a lot of growth as a team since the start of the Tri-County playoffs. They played a great game and look to finish off the season this week with three games to play.
