The AON Bantam AA Blue team
travelled to the Kawartha Lakes AA tournament this weekend in Peterborough, and
brought home the Gold.
The team finished 1st in their division after going 3-1 in the round robin. The Bantam AA Blue then faced last years Alliance AA champions, the Brantford 99ers in the semi- finals. With Austin Strom in net, the team was able to take the game with a 1-0 win. In the Championship game, the team faced the Nepean Raiders, who were undefeated in the tournament up to this point. This time led by goaltender Justin Easter, the AON Bantam AA Blue were able to come out on top with a 3-2 victory. Congratulations Eagles on bringing home the Gold!
