The Golden Horseshoe Committee met Monday night, and after
evaluating all possible options and the ever-changing situation regarding
COVID-19, came to the decision to cancel the 2021 Golden Horseshoe Tournament
and Jamboree.
This decision was made from an abundance of caution for the health and safety of all players, coaches, on and off-ice officials, volunteers, families, and spectators.
While all of us with the Golden Horseshoe are disappointed with the outcome of this decision, we will be refocusing our efforts on 2022 and hope to provide a great hockey experience for all of those that come through Burlington during the Winter Break.
We hope that everyone stays safe this holiday season and we look forward to getting back on the ice in 2022!
