EAGLES U14-18 AAA COACH ANNOUNCEMENT
The Burlington Eagles are thrilled to announce our AAA coaches for the U14-18 age groups for the 2021-22 hockey season! Our Selection Committee was overwhelmed with the number of applications received and they spent many hours considering, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates to lead our Eagles into next season. We believe they have selected some incredibly qualified individuals to pick up our teams after a disrupted season and have full confidence that they will improve our Eagles athletes as players and as people. Corey Locke and Hockey Committee are proud to introduce the following coaches and welcome them into the Burlington Eagles organization:

As a sports administration graduate and with a background working in professional sports and event management, Dwayne feels that sports are more than just a game. It is a great way to teach many life lessons. Dwayne is a Hockey Canada HP-1 High-Performance coach and has been coaching competitive rep hockey for over a decade in the GTHL, including head coaching in the following age groups at AAA & AA: 2002, 2004, and 2006. Dwayne's most recent AAA coaching program was the transformation efforts of the 2004 Markham Majors club from last in the provincial rankings into a competitive playoff team in a very short period of time.

Dwyane and his coaching staff believe and understand that they have a major role in the growth and development of our players, not only as athletes/hockey players but also as individuals. Sports are a formula that assists in developing life skills and how we present ourselves as a coaching staff plays an important role in that. With over 350 regular season wins & several rep league & tournament championships, Dwayne and his staff pride themselves on allowing every player to succeed. The players will continue to learn to respect their peers, their coaches, officials, opponents, parents and especially themselves.
