Great job boys!
The boys put on a courageous performance this weekend in Woodstock.
After a slow start against Cambridge, the boys fought back to secure a semi final birth with wins over Essex and the hometown Navy Vets.
After a fast 2 goal (for the good guys) start against London in the SF, the Hockey Gods exercised their power over the Eagles...the Mustangs tied it up after a couple of self-inflicted goals. Balls shrugged it off and put on a stellar third period performance, but the boys couldn't fend off the charging horses.
Willis and Sabljak played the role of Balls in the final couple of minutes making some stellar, player-gear stops to keep the 'Stangs lead to 2. That's where it ended. The boys were visibly upset after the game, evidence of their passion and understanding of 'team'.
Coach was complimentary of the boys gutsy performance and willingness to sacrifice for each other.
Set the alarm for Tuesday.
