Amazing Team Day
Wow What a Day!! June 3rd 2018
This past Sunday was an amazing start to what I hope to be an amazing year. Each and every player participated enthusiastically and seemed to enjoy themselves.
But this was by no means just for fun. They worked hard for four hours (minus a small break for lunch) establishing the notion that they want to be a "Good" hockey team (some even went to say great) and "Good Hockey Players".
We spent time unpacking what this meant to them, and demonstrating through interactive activities the skills we already have and ones we will continue to develop.
The players will be presenting some of this information to you on our team day, so I invite you to attend and witness some of their hard work. Our upcoming parent meeting will be held on June 21 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Eagles Head Office. Players are expected to attend to participate in presenting information to you.
I want to thank all of the coaching staff who attended and help facilitate this day, it could not have gone smoother. A big thanks to John Matthews and Hitachi for sponsoring our event.
I am very proud of all the players and can't wait to get this season started...
