Some of our Eagles hit the streets this past Sunday...
...to begin their Gift of Giving Back collection efforts.
The Gift of Giving Back is the largest known food drive in Canada and one that the Eagles support in a BIG way. The work of the boys in collecting donations will assist many Burlington and area families who are in need via the help of the Burlington Food Bank, Salvation Army, Carpenter Hospice, Halton Women's Place, Food for Life and the Compassion Society.
Carter and Luke hit the streets along with Carter's little brother, Hunter. A smart move by Luke and Carter who relied on Hunter's ultra-cute smile to encourage potential donators to go big. Carter also bestowed the title of Logistics Manager on his brother which meant that Hunter had to pull the wagon full of food...sibling love at its finest.
Lucas and Quinn worked The Shot and finally came across a ride that they
were 'tall enough to ride'. The only issue was that it was a sick Porsche and the owner quickly shoo'd them away. The boys filled a big wagon full of food in only a couple of hours.
