Yesterday's game was a wild one that resulted in a second tie for the boys in as many days. Every one in attendance at the game, with the exception of one, including Woolwich's coaching staff, witnessed Jackson R score two goals on two beautiful breakaway efforts. Post game, Burlington and Woolwich's coaches were chatting and the question was posed - 'in' or 'out', and Woolwich's coaches responded emphatically - 'in'. Jackson's not allowed goal would have given the boys a much needed dub.
The hockey Gods are a fickle bunch.
All of the drama should not over shadow a heroic effort by Jacob G, not only did he match CT's effort on Sunday...he did it in a single shift. Two goals in one shift is a miraculous feat - congratulations JG!
Coach Warren also pulled even with Coach Marsh on bench minors for the season 1 - 1. Let's hope the season ends at a 1 - 1 loggerhead.
