I hope not.
The coaches have been working with the boys at practice to increase their intensity and level of 'compete'. There is no question that the boys step-up for games, but that same
ZIP is missing at practice.
'Compete' at practice means:
- Listening intently and asking questions - it's okay to get clarification
- Not shooting pucks against the boards during a drill - it is distracting to everyone
- Finishing each drill in the same fashion it was started - game pace
These are simple rules that the coaching staff will be enforcing with vigor in our coming practices.

There are very few leagues in Canada that operate on a games-only basis, The Oldtimers is one of those leagues. None of our players look like the hockey player in the picture, so practices will be a key part of our Eagles' hockey life for years to come.
