Each year the Burlington Eagles operate a rep development program known as the Jr. Eagles for six (and some five) year old boys and girls with a keen interest in hockey. The program, now entering its’ 34th year runs from October to March. Players attend two - 1 hour skills development training sessions each week.
This season, the Jr. Eagles will once again continue their special partnership with The Pond, accessing their on-ice expertise in the form of Greg, Michelle, and Ryan Moore to assist with player development.
Our program puts the focus on power skating, stick/puck skills and agility.
Our Jr. Eagles players will benefit from exposure to skilled, accredited coaches and special guest instructors. The emphasis is on player development with a fairly intense program but in a fun atmosphere. These Jr. Eagles players form the nucleus of the Eagles Tyke rep teams (AAA, AA, and A level) year after year.
Does this sound like something your little hockey player might be interested in? There are a few remaining spots in this year’s program.
