2016-2017 Bantam Gold AA - Congratulations to the Burlington Eagles Bantam AA Gold Team for winning the 2016 Waterloo Wolves Memorial Tournament!!!

Bantam Gold AA team came in to their tournament HUNGRY like a Wolf and came out
as Champions
After steamrolling through the round robin portion outscoring their opposition 17-4 in 4 games the team advanced as the top seed in their pod. After doubling up on their opposition in the semifinal the Eagles squad would then square off against the tough and undefeated host Wolves team in the final. Backed by some spectacular goaltending from Dylan Hamilton the Eagles shutout Waterloo 1-0 in a thrilling final. Not even a full moon could help the Wolves overcome the determined Burlington Eagle squad on this day. Congratulations and take a bow to our team’s hard working coaches Scott North and Taylor Sykes, trainer Chris Loretti, Manager Peter White, and Parent Rep Lisa Tarullo. Well done guys. This victory was the result of a fantastic team effort with complete team buy-in and a totally disciplined approach by all players. A special shout out to Jacob Vet who was relentless all weekend in providing 6 goals and a +7 rating over the tournament weekend. Awesome job Vetter!! With only 3 losses in 32 games this season the team will now shift their focus on their climb to top spot in the Bowen Division Standings. #STICKING TO THE PLAN
