The Burlington Eagles Minor Peewee A
team win the OMHA Championship and Celebrate with their Red Hats!
On Saturday March 25th, the atmosphere inside Central Arena was incredible. In front of a standing room only crowd, the Minor Peewee A Eagles realized their goal of winning the OMHA Championship. The crowd raised the roof off Central Arena as they celebrated the Game 5 victory over the Barrie Colts 3 to 0.
The Eagles started their march to the OMHA title in early September winning an early bird tournament and going on an 18 game winning streak. The kids won two more tourments, their division title and finnished with 59 wins.
This team is a special group of young men that became family over the season and now will be forever connected with each other with the special memory of earning their red hats and OMHA title.
Congratulations to the boys, the coaches, management and all the parents and grand parents who supported the kids throughout the season!
