Minor Pee Wee AA Three Peat as Tri County Champions
Minor Pee Wee AA defeated the
Flamborough Sabres this past Monday to claim the Tri County Championship. The
series was closely contested with a 5th game needed to crown a champion.
The Eagles had their backs to the wall in a must win game four winning 4-0 and clinched the title with a convincing 3-0 performance. This marks many of the players third straight Tri County Championship winning in 2014 with Coach Mike Moes and 2015 with Coach Ethan Lyons. This is Coach Jon Lawson's 2nd Championship as he assisted Coach Mike in 2013/2014. The team showed great resiliency bouncing back after losing a hard fought series with Oakville in the OMHA Quarter Finals. The Parents and Players would like to thank Coach Jon Lawson, Coach Brian Johnson, Trainer Kevin Leuschner and On Ice Volunteer Peter Johns for their time and dedication this season.
